My wife and I are both teachers and we are both 5 years into this program. We both work at lower income schools so that we can qualify for the PSLF. If the government does away with this program, you bet your arse my wife and I will jump ship and go to a better school. This will cause many good teachers to leave low income school thus making them worst.

Between my wife and I, we spend $1000 a month on student loans and are depending on this program when we become eligible in 5 more years.

I am an avid Trump supporter but I do not support getting rid of PSLF.

If it's a public school you're eligible regardless of the school's income level.
