Isn't working that way. A lady I used to work with at Birmingham City Schools was able to get the amount she paid in student loans to the government each month down to $0 a month because she "owned a business" that really her husband owned and ran and put in her name so they could get minority female business contracts, so after 10 years she would have her loans forgiven and have paid not a single red cent.
ETA: I don't blame her, but the program is definitely a waste.
