Congrats man, 6 months is a hell of an accomplishment.

As someone who relapsed a few times and now has years, I can say never get complacent.

It can take between 2-6 years for your brain to start fully working correctly again and at least 2 for you to start really getting into a good grove and not have to worry about cravings. Never put your guard down, especially not now.

It'll only get easier and better.

I really don't like 12 steps type programs, but it works for some. Anyways, my point is, find something that works for you.

Good luck. If you ever need someone to contact, for anything, just make a thread or respond to a post of mine and I'll give you my email. Not trying to sound cocky, but most things you'll go through the next year or so (cravings, making amends/patching up relationships, etc) I've been through and would love to be able to help anyone.

Good luck and prayers sent.

This is some good posting and something I totally relate to. It's difficult getting to that "groove" but once you find it, everyday is rewarding.
