you think if we can keep Kelvin Joseph then Javonte smart will come with him since they are close friends!

They'd have a better chance if LSU started recruiting Dorian Camel, Scotlandville safety. He's already got SEC offers and has drawn serious interest from Alabama over the last few weeks

I agree he's worth the offer if it seals the deal with joseph. Did it with the Rome deal so maybe O will offer him. I don't think anyone effects smarts decision. He'll only be in college for a year

Man... When I went to scotlandville, we didn't have anything but a soccer team and a chess team, lol

Camel has been in contact with Raymond so there could be something there in the future. I'm sure he'll camp this summer

This seldom has any effect on a recruit's decision. LSU does not do this kind of thing unless the coaches believe the recruit can contribute. Otherwise it would tie up a valuable scholarship.
I know some will claim Lanard Fournette was recruited as a concession to Leonard. However, he is in te mix and will likely get 80 to 100 touches this year.

Happy to know that is who it was. He said a coach but didn't know which one.

I'll bet my life's savings Lanard doesn't touch the ball 80-100 times this year. He's going to be our 4th/5th back. He was 100% a take for LSU and bama due to his brother. If Leonard went to Bama, Lanard would not be at LSU right now.

Lanard won't ever get 100 carries in a season here but don't sleep on him, he's a good back. He was very good in high school as well - he'll just never have the size his brother has. He could carry it 5-10 times a game at a lot of Power 5 schools though and be the feature back for most mid-major programs.
The guy is no slouch.

I was super impressed by lanard but the oline was defiantly the key to his success. They looked very good in the spring game. He could see the field quite a bit with robinson's coaching style but incoming CEH will steal a lot his carries for that 4th spot behind Williams, guice, and brossette

That last part made my day thanks for the lulz

After seeing him play the past couple of years I don't think he is good enough to be a one and done play - He needs to work on his defensive skills
