It may not be the exact same and will likely come with some challenges, but i've always thought adoption would be a great option and rewarding experience. I'm sure after the adopted child is in your home you will view it and love it as your own child.
If you just really want a daughter who is of your own blood, then yes it isn't going to be the same. But welcoming a child in need into your home has to be an experience unlike any other I would think.
