With a satellite, the satellite companies are apparently not able to make any last-minute changes (I've read why but I forget the reason) so when a game is moved to SEC Alternate at the last minute, it won't work on DirecTV or Dish. If you have cable, however, the games moved to the alternate channel will be shown on there. The only games shown on the alternate channels if you have satellite are the pre-scheduled football or basketball games, as far as I know.
