Russia was trying to get Trump to pick up where Obama left off when he unwittingly was recorded telling Medvedev to tell Vlad that he would have more flexibility to (collude; hint, hint, meddle in our election so I will win) act favorably towards mother Russia

Obama does it on record and liberals are ok with it

there is no evidence that Trump colluded and he is excoriated
