Yep. Excellent off season moves (McHugh, Harris, Fister, McCann Reddick etc.) but terrible inseason moves (Fiers/Gomez, Kazmir)
I do think we are in a position now with our roster that we can sell off some of the farm and make a move that will enhance our chances not only this year, but for the near term future with an Archer or Cole.

This was not that bad of a move. We got a half a season from him and made the playoffs for very little in return. Sure he wasn't very good down the stretch but his first half gave no indication he'd fold like a tent.

Well we got a no hitter out of him. He's a 5 we've been trying to make a 3. Not his fault we haven't brought anybody better in front of him. Plus he's under club control for another 2 years.
