I proposed to my Lt. in the Cajun Militia in the swamps of Acadiana. It was romantical.

I had the sgt. At arms from our neighborhood citizens safety group show up as a surprise and give me a sheriff issued windbreaker to present to my wife that said "will you marry me". It was really more to renew our vows. She said.yes! We renewed vows on the 11-1am shift last 4th of july.
