Stewart purchased a two-page advertisement Wednesday in The New Orleans Advocate titled “Dear Mitch — Shame on You.”
On Wednesday evening, Landrieu issued a statement saying, “I owe my friend Frank Stewart an apology for mentioning his name. It was a mistake."
