I love these articles. Etling went against the No. 1 defense in the Spring game. A similar defense to the one the made the Heisman-award-winning QB look like Brandon Harris in our last game. The offense had 14 practices. Half the OL was missing.

Exactly. I'm not disputing Etling made some bad throws, but all of the incompletes were not his fault. Chark dropped an easy one and more than a few times the receivers couldn't create any space with the DB's. The O-Line, at least twice, did not block their assignments and some defender barreled through.

I think they showed off some formations and some basic plays, but did not flash anything really. I am hoping that the report of Guice lining up in the slot is indicative of something we'll see in this season, maybe even doing motion, running the jet sweep, or using Guice to fake the jet sweep to keep the LB's and DB's from pressing up to much.
