I guess Saints are pleased with Kikaha's rehab?

Could that be in play with draft philosophy??

Supposedly he was ready and in good shape halfway through the last football season. It was reported to have been about as minor of an ACL tear as can be, although still a big deal. There was no structural damage and in today's world, compared to 1992, ACL injuries aren't the death nail on a player. Unless you are a 32 y/o CB.

Him, Okafor, and now Hendrickson. That across from Cam combined with DTs who are good pass rushers as well should do well. Especially considering we basically just retooled half the secondary.

My worry isn't that the ACL issues will affect or effect his play in the future, its just hoping he doesn't have another injury. He has had 2, not 3 ACL tears btw. The first one didn't take in surgery, and had to be redone.

Cam, Fairley, Rankins, Kikaha, Okafor, Hendrickson and Onyamata.
I think our defensive line had a good base and flexibility. Best it's been in a while. I think the reason they passed on the big name guys like Barnett and Harris was that they targeted Hendrickson who would be there later. Basically the same thing they did with T. Armstead and Jahri Evans.

Definitely. And as said Okafor, Hendrickson added, and Onyemata playing a bigger role at end and tackle plus Jordan and two great pass rushing DTs.
We definitely need that blue chip speed rusher, but there was none in FA and after Barnett and Tak went there were none left in the draft (just guys you hoped could be great but all had big flaws).
If Lattimore doesn't fall we go Barnett (assuming KC still leaps us). But then we likely have to trade for Butler because outside of Lattimore no CBs imo are ready to step in and have a real impact right away.
But as pointed out we have guys that can get the job done if given more than 2.5 seconds.
