Applications is the biggest data sucker. I had this with Verizon but I will admit my apps I used was the reason.
*Reset wireless router at home
*Tell wife to reduce when not on WiFi
*Call them and tell them what's happening. They'll bump you up to next package which will be cheaper, but will only reduce current month.
*If she has a 6s, I believe there was a settings hack to help with this, but can't remember
