Then none of us are American citizens.
This adherence to "letter of the law" when life is not at all black and white is psychopathic.
All of you would be chomping at the mouth with excuses if you were in the defendants shows.

Better yet, this desire to bend the law is idiotic at best. The law is the law, if she lied on the application then she lied on the application.
If I go to buy a firearm and I lie on the application but it was only a little white lie, is it still ok for me to purchase the firearm OR should I be prosecuted for telling a lie?
