I think they want a 3 down starter who's good vs the run as well as pass rushing. Not a pure pass rusher who gets gashed vs the run. We just don't have the lbers to run sideline to sideline
Okafor and kikaha have had some health concerns thus limiting their snaps to pass rush specialist seem like the smart idea.
