Too bad they let go of Jayme Sire. I'm sure she made less money than Scot Van Pelt. Fire over-priced male anchors.

ESPN would be in better shape if they remembered their 1979 roots. We got cable when ESPN was not on 24 hours a day and their sports were sprint car racing, PKA Karate and fast-pitch softball. People watch for the sports. They don't need journalists or analysts or experts to cover the SEC, Big 10 or the NHL. Just show live sporting events and stuff on tape. I"d rather watch live bowling on a Thursday afternoon if I'm home over their talking head crap. Put 1st round and 2nd round golf even if it's the LPGA or some minor tournament. Put 1st tennis on in the afternoon from some lesser tournament.

Put more live sports on and things will be fine.

Yes, I'm sure they protected that huge pool of African American Hockey Writers.
