as we wait the start of the outbreak...
can we talk about the tornado that saved America?
War of 1812... British forces had just occupied Washington D.C. the day before... fires (including the White House and Capitol) were still burning
suddenly...

26 hours after the occupation of D.C. began... it ended... thanks in part to the tornado
President Madison returned 2 days later.
