The big knock on Narcisse is his knees.
The big knock on Narcisse is that he has essentially no game experience the past two years. That's hard to simulate in practice.
That being said, I'm in favor of giving him a hard look at starting. We need w dynamic player to beat Alabama. Etling would have to have a perfect game for us to beat bama.

This^ and This^
Narcisse is a physical specimen with a cannon and a beautiful deep ball. No doubt he is one of the better looking prospects at QB in, well, ever.
But I don't know how comfortable I'd feel putting him out there against the Bama defenses and such, without a good year to adjust to the speed of the SEC and learn the playbook.
Sure, I'll get downvoted to hell for this, but let's redshirt both Narcisse and Brennan this season and let the QB competition ensue in 2018 between the two. Because in all honesty, Narcisse is built like a brick shitehouse, but two consecutive ACLs in two consecutive seasons have left his legs two years under-built. No piont in throwing him to the wolves as a true freshman who has missed the previous two seasons at the high school level.
He will be better and much more ready next year, and so will Brennan.
