That was the Chargers then GM AJ Smith's decision. Smith was a moron. Not just with the decision Brees but other personnel moves too.
Oh & Brees was dog shite his first 2 seasons with the Chargers. Somebody had to have helped him get better. Maybe it was 2004 Assistant Coach of the Year Cam Cameron.

Thats clearly coach speak.
A defensive end said he was a shite coach so he must have been a shite qb coach.
