Does the salt have a rusting effect everything metal around the house? I am about to build and will be using Brandon with Cajun Pools...Good guy with a great product!

No, it does not. Not even salty enough to taste the salt.

I've heard it can be hard on equipment. Heater etc.

I disagree with the other poster. It is definitely enough salt to taste in the water. Not like ocean water, but salty.

I bought a house that had beautiful slate tile as the pool deck and pool/jazuzzi coping and I had the have the coping replaced because the salt water destroyed it. Other than that no real problems

I used to work with Brandon's dad, he is a good guy and does some quality work from what I hear.
