Special teams would be in better hands with no one coaching them rather than Peveto still on staff.
The few recruits they lost because Peveto was fired is a drop in the bucket compared to the game day fiasco special teams were, and to think Miles thought peveto could run the defense. All Chavis hire did was prolong the agony with Miles.

When peveto took over, LSU improved in every single statistic in special teams except kick off coverage. Too me, that was more of a personnel problem since LSU was losing players early at a crazy rate. You had to have true frosh playing a regular position in games and left the not so talented guys playing special teams. Even white averaged more yards per punt return than Beckham Jr did.
Oh and LSU won a national title with peveto on staff.

Les won more games in his last five years than Saban won in his time here. Agony is way over the top, but par for the course with some of our clowns.
It was time for Les to move on, but some of the shite the clowns here throw at the man is a sad example of their sports IQ and the reason LSU fans are laughed at in the SEC.
