It all depends on where you want to live. You can live in the burbs out from the city's for pretty cheap.

St. Paul is older and less upbeat than Minneapolis.


All said and done, doesn't really matter where you live because it's pretty easy getting around with the light rail and uber. Commuting is the worst part.
