Read your sentence. Texting is an action which leads to accidents. Not wearing a seat belt is an inaction which does not lead to accidents.

I never said texting did not cause Accidents but early stats from states that passed texting laws actually showed an increase in traffic accidents, because people lowered their phones into their laps to avoid tickets and still TEXTED.. PSA campaigns instead of laws were my point.
