They've had about a century of chances, most of that without MLS in the picture. You just need to accept that what you want does not equal what there is actually a market for. No amount of shitposting about MLS attendance, TV ratings, or tax attributes is going to change that it's far far far and away the most successful soccer league this country has ever seen, is improving in quality, is improving the development structure and is improving the talent of not just the United States but all of the North and Central American nations.

Oh really? When has the USSF ever allowed, let alone promoted an open pyramid. Also are you really going to compare the potential market for soccer in the US in say 1963 or 1989 to what it is in 2017? I mean really?

Most successful meaning hundreds of millions of dollars in the red?

Also how successful would they be if they didn't have the USSF blocking entry into the market for them?
