Monogamy is one of the pillars of civilization. It may be 'unnatural', but so is wearing pants and shitposting on the internet.

I don't think some people think through how much chaos abandoning a monogamous society would create. Or, maybe they do and they see it as way to "fight the establishment". Monogamy is actually a good thing for women; you think a guy is going to stick around and help raise that kid if he's one of 5 potential fathers? Most won't.
