Harris lives 2 blocks from UL's stadium. Was going nowhere else.

Plus, both his parents were athletes at UL and are big supporters of the school.

I think LSU should be able to get a kid who lives inside UL's baseball stadium.

Look, I get all the downvotes. Everyone wants to circle the wagons to defend LSU. I get it. But every year there are some really good baseball players from South Louisiana that don't go to LSU.

I realize there will always be a few that get away. I just think it's been too many of them here lately. Is there anyone who's done their homework and thinks that's an unreasonable opinion?

Anyone could see Wyatt Marks and Hogan Harris were big-time arms in high school. Marks was 88-90 with a wipeout slider. Harris was wicked from the left side. Looking at their stats at ULL they've been just as dominant as expected in college.

Same with JT Mauldin and Austin Edens. Anyone could see they were monsters at the plate in high school. What's everyone's big complaint right now about LSU? Feeble at the plate. Those two guys certainly wouldn't have hurt.

Travis Swaggerty was the best hitter in the area when he was at Denham and had an absolute cannon in the oufield. Wouldn't he fit in nicely into our outfield this year?
