Dog Owners of the OT: Dog trainer/class recs in NOLA?

Just got a ~8 month old pup from a rescue and to say he needs a lot of training is an understatement. Anyone have any experience with NOLA area trainers/classes/etc?

YouTube is free and there are hundreds of great videos. All you need is 10-20 minutes a day and some treats.
Sit, down, stay are really easy to teach
Not trying to discourage you from seeing a trainer, but give yourself a shot for a week and then see what you think.
ETA: what kind of problems are you having?

A lot of people will disagree with me, but an e-collar is a game changer for dog behavior and I have people come up to me at the dog park all the time asking about my well behaved animal. Obviously the collar can do more harm than good if not introduced correctly, so be cautious and confident in what you're doing. The main thing to understand about collar training is that he dog MUST know it's command and right/wrong before starting conditioning. If the dog doesn't know why it's getting buzzed, it will ruin it.

I've been at it for about a week and a half now. He's making a lot of progress, but there's still a LONG way to go.
He knows sit, but getting him to lie down down has been difficult. I'm using treats and a clicker. Right now, it seems he only wants to sit when I get out the treats and clicker. He will just sit and wait for me to give the treat instead of listening to me trying to teach him a different command.
He can also get quite mouthy at times and loose leash walking has been improving, but still a ways to go.
He's a good dog 80% of the time, but he's a shithead the other 20% and when he's in that mode it's hard to get him to calm down and focus his energy on something more appropriate or productive.
He's a poodle mix btw. We think mixed with Terrier. He's about 17 pounds now, but expect him to be in the mid 20's or so full grown.
