No doubt about that but it goes both ways. Our offense has been worse than Alex lange

Romero playing over Papierski would be one obvious solution any dolt could figure out.
Hess should start Fridays since we don't score on Fridays anyway. Save Lange and Poche for Sat and Sun. Start Walker Mid-week. By doing this, we at least give ourselves a chance to play .500 ball or maybe even a little better the rest of the year.
Paul needs to quit wasting Lange on Friday and just cede that game. If Hess and Wholestaff happen to steal one great.
Our hitting isn't good enough to win games straight up. We need to pitch our 1 and 2 against out opponents' 2 and 3 and hope our pitchers can hold them to 2 runs or less.
Walker should be able to win every remaining midweek game.
And find a fricking way to get Romero in the everyday lineup. Fuco, let him catch everybody but Lange and let him DH when Lange pitches. At this point his offense is so much more valuable than the 2 thousandths of a percent of fielding percentage (.002) and 9% more stolen base attempts we'd surrender that it's not even debateable.
It's like if the Golden State Warriors arbitrarily decided to not play Steph Curry, struggled offensively and sat around scratching their heads wondering why the offense isn't clicking.
All these slap hitters and pop-up artists aren't getting it done. Play the guy we know can pound the ball and maybe even give the other guy who can hit hard a chance to earn a spot in the order. He did homer in his only AB for like the past month.
