Cebollitas al Carbon (grilled green onions)
Ingredients
3 bunches green onions
1 tablespoon cooking oil
fresh ground sea salt
fresh lime
Directions:
Preheat grill to medium high. Make sure the grill is nice and hot. Trim the roots off of the green onions. Cut off the top third of the green tops. Very lightly coat with the cooking oil so they don't stick to the grill. Lay the onions on the hot grill until seared about 2-4 minutes per side. You want nice grill marks. Onions are done when nicely browned and slightly wilted.
Plate, and squeeze lime juice over the top. Sprinkle with fresh ground salt.
