I'm just so thankful Kompany's flick on threw Stones off.

Newcastle got screwed about as badly as you can get but it didn't end up mattering. Only saw what was going on without sound but I was at Anfield and the TVs had so sound. In hospitality section now so I will update later.

Ref in the Newcastle match fricked up.
Newcastle were awarded a penalty. Apparently, the rule is going to change after this season that if a player for the team taking the penalty encroaches at a penalty a foul is given. Well, a Newcastle player encroached and the referee's assistant communicated to him that he should chalk the goal off and he did (He should have just ordered a retake). Well, he gets called out on it, realises he's fricked up, and claims that a Newcastle player actually committed a foul - the only problem was that he picked a player who had absolutely nobody around him during the incident.
