I watch it for six weeks every summer. It's nothing like the pressure they face on Friday.

Linebackers are forced to work in space, get proper depth in their drops

Work on space after never taking a primary run read or misdirection from linemen, so its an instant spot drop. Again, nothing like Friday nights.

and are forced to cover much more athletic receivers and backs

On unrealistic routes that take way too long to develop when nobody can send five guys out because nobody can protect for an eternity with just five linemen. Or those one or two yard passes to get a first down where there would normally be a center and a tackle.

Bruh....don't be that guy. It's offseason, the competition level is not what you see in district play, and no one is arguing it's identical to pad ball.

So, you've never seen anything like this before? That's what you're telling me. There will be 180+ Division I kids competing for more than high school bragging rights. This is a different level of competition than what you're speaking of.

Around here the ball bust be out of the QB's hand within 4 secs, maybe you play it differently but that is hardly an eternity to run routes.
