I'm interested in this as well. Whats the skinny on setting one up for streaming purposes? Is it better to set it up on the Router or have on FireTV for Kodi purposes? Ive done a little research and I think I am more confused at what I need. Does it effect Tablo, DTVN if installed on Router? I've read different reports on this.

I use IPVanish for Kodi. I had set it up on my router and it does cause issues with DTVN. You lose the locals. I had installed it on my router but have since removed it and only run it on my phone and fireTVs when streaming Kodi.

I work from home and already use a VPN daily so I was having issues with my work network and DTVN. That's why I just use the android app when I need it.
