FWIW, Consumer Reports places it second from the bottom in their ratings. Only the Dodge Caravan is lower. The Pacifica is, however, ranked highest by CR in likely owner satisfaction, so... Those who buy it will likely enjoy the interactions with their mechanics.

I will echo a lot of the Kia supporters on here. It's hard to imagine paying new minivan price for the Sedona, but given that Hyundai is the parent company and I do have experience with their new stuff, it's GOT to be worth consideration. What I have found odd is the apparent lack of an entertainment system with many of the ones I've seen in even the highest trim levels. We had a base model one for a couple days as a rental and my wife joked about how superior its ride was to our '13 T&C.

The Pacifica looks good. I think you're just going to have to wait for the long-term data to determine if it's lipstick on a pig or an actual step in the proper direction.

My wife owned the older version(not Mini Van) Pacifica. Extremely comfortable car on the road. However, at around 75,000 miles, started burning oil from leaky gaskets, ruined the O2 sensors, Engine light came on, game over. Only got around $4000 on the trade in. Never again.......
