Saying the OL was the real problem is actually glossing over the real problem. The real problem was the offensive scheme and game plan along with inconsistent QB play.
LSU wants to play man ball, and you can't beat Bama like that simply because their talent is much better than yours. You know what LSU had in common with Kent St? They were the only other team to not score anything vs Bama last year. LSU had the lowest yardage output and lowest yards per play vs Bama than any other team that played them last year. That includes Chattanooga.
LSU needed an overhaul on offense which seems like what Canada is implementing. Now all we need is consistent QB play. We have the talent, it just needs to be properly utilized.
