Management screwed up by not trading Holiday, Asik, Moore and Hill to the 76ers for expiring contracts and Okafor. This season was lost early. With the above move the Pelicans could have hit free agency with a lot of cap space and a either Cousins or Okafor to love for young talent. Thinking they could make the playoffs caused the cutting of a good support player and the chasing of the unattainable.
