I'd see him fitting in with Fox better than Marvel Studios or WB/DC. They've branched far out with Deadpool, Logan, and Legion. They'd be more likely to turn him loose on a Mutants-that-are-smarter-than-you-and-have-better-dialogue-than-you'll-ever-hope-to-have movie.
Or maybe a Fantastic Four where they walk around talking about what they should do and what they should have done in the Negative Zone.
