I'd take Bird over Lebron.
Bird always wanted the ball at the end of games. Lebron has passed it away more times than I can count.
Lebron is the better athlete, but there were much better athletes when Bird was playing too. Bird was a killer and had that ability to just make his whole team better.
Jordan was better than them both. Magic was probably equal to Bird and had a younger supporting cast so he picked up two titles after Bird and the Celtics were too old.
That 1986 team of Boston was better than any team Lebron has ever had.
If I had to build a team, I'd take Larry over Lebron. But, not by much. Lebron is great.

LeBron is literally the pinnacle of this attribute
again, not saying LBJ is better than Bird, just poking holes where I see them
