As a cyclists, I yell at other cyclists for running red lights or stop signs.

It pisses me off too.

I wish cops would write more tickets for cyclists.

BTW, I rode my bike to work today. I stopped at every red light and stop sign and used my hand signals at every turn.

You may actually be one of a kind, Salmon. Like I said, I ride too (probably must less city riding than you), and I honestly don't know one person who can say the same. Hell, I've only witnessed a very limited number of people do all that.

You also see cyclist on bike forums reminding people of this. All too often you get someone that decides they want to start riding so they get a bike and take off without learning the rules. I've lived in several locations throughout the southeast and have always been active in either a triathlon club or bike club. Running red lights, blowing by stop signs, etc just is not tolerated on our rides. I'm not sure what areas you all are talking about but are these mainly commuters going to/from work or are these recreational cyclists?
