I have 4 suppressors (2) rimfire, (1) .30, and (1) .223. I do not shoot my AR-15's without having the suppressor on the rifle. The suppressor eliminates the sound of the expanding gases leaving the barrel. What you still hear is the bullet breaking the sound barrier. Which is more of a crack than a boom that people typically associate with a gun shot.

So when I am hunting with my suppressor it helps in 2 ways. First since you are containing the gases leaving the barrel the muzzle rise is almost negligible from my .223 or .300 blackout. So I am able to stay on target with my scope after pulling the trigger and look for bullet impact. Second I find that after the shot you don't have any echo so you can hear the bullet impact your target. When I take my AR hog hunting with the suppressor I can see the bullet hit the hog and hear it. So I can know for sure if I made a good shot or not.

Very cool. Thanks.

Sounds like with the current system though, you're able to get them.

The current system is an unnecessary regulation and hardship for not only the end user, but manufacturers.

Yes, but this lady makes it sound like you can just attach one to every gun on earth. Most gun murders are carried out by handguns. These handguns require threaded barrels. These hoodrats are thankful when they get a shitty Hi Point, so I don't see them going out and getting threaded barrels in order to get a suppressor.
