College basketball has atmosphere--the Cameron Crazies, the Wisconsin student section, etc. The NBA has a bunch of celebrities and hipsters sitting courtside where they can be seen. There's no atmosphere in the NBA apart from artificially generated hype.
Better athletes in the NFL and NBA-higher level of play-doesn't matter. I'd still rather watch a college game.

so you'd rather watch vastly inferior basketball because a bunch of GDIs aren't jumping around and doing weird chants? different strokes i guess.
