Most people will lie their arse off to keep out of trouble. Did that cop lie? Certainly looks like it. But the witnesses questioned at the scene lied as well. Why would they have to lie?
The cop lying really didn't change anything though. Yeah, he could get in trouble for that. That incident had a motivated administration and DA picking through it and found nothing. I'm not backing the cop with that statement, but if Holder couldn't find anything on him, I'm guessing he was completely innocent in all accounts.
