There were 3 very questionable pass interference calls on that final drive that led to the game winning FG, two of which were called against Casanova.. I remember watching that game on a large screen in a crowded hall filled with delirious students cheering every play..
LSU's second team defense played practically the entire third quarter and held ND to minus 13 yards in the quarter. I remember John Weinstein all over the field that day. What was really cool was there was no audio of the game. John Sage was a DT on that team. Giving away my age!!
