My mom and I were huge LSU baseball fans. We didn't miss a home game, I remember her checking me out of school early during regional's. Lot of great memories at the old Alex Box!

Maybe not mom's brightest idea.

Flipping across the field with Armando Rios on nights when they let kids on the field for the National Anthem. (I was a gymnast) Catching foul balls. Getting to know Lloyd Peever after he got hit by an at-bat, while he was gunning radar in the Gold section, behind home plate. He called me when I was like 13 to tell me he was being signed by the Rockies and said goodbye. Sucking up to every guard as a pre-teen in the early 90's, so I could go in to any place in the stadium (locker room too!). Got invited to a player's wedding. LSU baseball was amazing. Oh, and crushing on Todd Walker. I have a t-shirt somewhere that my mom had signed by the 1993 (?) team. Todd signed it as Batman, Ronnie Rantz signed it as "Fat arse", Mike (pitcher) drew a big Jesus cross. I should find that shirt.
