We've had mid and late round gems, but out top picks haven't been up to snuff. I guess it all comes out in the wash.

Cameron Jordan, Mark Ingram, Vacarro, Cooks, Rankins looked good last year. No high pick in 2012. Am I missing something? Hell even Peat has found himself starting at both LG and LT with solid play. I mean you aren't gonna bat 100% but we haven't done bad with first picks.

Almost every pick in rounds 1-3 has been a multi year starter for us (and some started for other teams).

And some people will say that they were only average or below average starters, but there are MANY 1-3 rounders that never start 1 game for their teams. So we are far ahead of many teams in those terms.

I think Brown was the worst pick we've had in the top 3 rounds and even he at least started.

And then there's the fact that because of trades and bounty gate we've had by far the least picks in the first three rounds.

Hell if we had kept all of our first three round picks we'd likely be much higher on the list.

Yeah, we have some good ones for sure, but we've also had sed Ellis, Charles brown, prob, Anthony, and SJB. Many more that started, but were very meh, like ingram, peat, meach, kikaha, and porter. I think we've done better in late rounds, but slightly worse in early rounds. Just my opinion, but when did this board magically flip from hating the Loomis/sp draft record?
