I mean you could discourage sitting star players for rest for nationally televised games.
I understand the Spurs and why they had to sit 2 of their biggest stars (concussion and a legit heart condition), but they didn't have to sit out Parker or Murray realistically. At the same time, Durant has to sit out legitimately, but they didn't have to sit out the other big 4 guys on their roster for rest.
If it was a locally televised game vs say philly, it wouldn't be as big if a deal.

Just as they fake fouls by flopping , injuries will be faked. Rules cannot overcome a lack of heart or competiveness.
The Warriors played all out against the Timberwolves the night before ,but chose to sit out a nationally televised game against the Spurs?
