I love Uriah Heep but are they really prog-rock?

I had always grouped them in that Genre, but maybe not. Some group Rush there but I don't

There seems to be some confusion with the Prog Rock Genre and how it is defined I suppose.

I always defined it as music that incorporates other (non-rock) types of music into a rock format. So for example, ELP and Yes used a lot of classical motifs, Genesis and Jethro Tull used English folk music, etc.

However one could define it as rock music that pushes the boundaries of rock in directions hitherto unexplored. By that definition, I think Pink Floyd becomes progressive. Maybe Uriah Heep too.
