quote:Public satisfaction with the NHS is pretty high. In the mid 1990s, 50% of the country was dissatisfied, and that's fallen to 23% in 2015. 60% are very or quite satisfied, and another 16% are neutral in their opinion.
Have you used the NHS as an English citizen?
Also, the NHS is purported to be the world's 5th largest employer.
Yeah, a country of that size employs enough people to be the world's 5th largest employer.
1. US DOD
2. Chinese military
3. Walmart
4. McDonald's (must include all the franchises obviously)
5. NHS
Let's do that here. More government is awesome.
In the last several years, satisfaction has been between 60-70%. That's pretty good.

60-70% satisfaction is pretty shitty when you're talking about healthcare.
But I'm sure you're going to provide me with other stats of socialized medicine in other countries to prove that 60-70% is actually "good".

His post wasn't referring to some vague polling numbers, but the bloated government that is required by socialized medicine. And please explain how your link is any more reputable of a source than infowars.

Cool. That's a different discussion altogether.
However, we both know that satisfaction surveys are dependent on what outcomes the researcher is looking for. I can be satisfied with the way my car was washed but not happy about the actual outcome. I'm just to lazy or timid to complain for example. So, I report that I'm satisfied.
ETA:
Is it?

I just read the "key findings" in your link and now I'm even more terrified.
