it happens. my boy started sleeping through the night at 11 weeks old and then at about 4.5 months old, started waking up multiple times a night. We are going nuts trying to figure what caused it or how to fix it. I think we have hit the point fixed scheduling and teaching him he doesnt need to eat at night/letting him cry it out a bit.

Those first weeks were rough. We were sleeping in shifts during that time. Then we got one of those small rocking cribs and she was sleeping 3-4 hours at a time, then eventually the whole night. She is 8 months now, but since 5-6 months we put her to bed and 6-7 pm and she sleeps till about 6 am like a champ. We did the cry it out thing but that only started at 6 months and only for naps. She goes to sleep pretty quickly now at night.
