Historically, the pendulum usually swings back from the brink of (or the nidst of) insanity. I’m wondering if any of you think that there will be a shift back to more traditional views of women/feminism
I hope so.
I whole heartedly agree with everything you said. I've never felt unequal to men, but I know I'm different. And that's okay, since the reality is that I am different.
Being pregnant (almost full term) and working full time and being expected to not perform any differently than if I weren't is honestly extremely daunting. I travel for my job and work in a mostly male dominated industry where even my own manager forgets that every aspect of my being is basically consumed with creating a little life inside of me. To say it doesn't effect me mentally and physically would be a lie. Maybe some women are just better at ignoring that, I don't know. But I do agree with you that modern day feminism honestly hurts women because it's almost as if we are expected to be exactly what we aren't: men.
