Yeah its falling apart.
devoting episodes to one storyline and two characters is not working. Im sure it cuts down on costs but this series needs a serious shot in the arm.
It needs an end goal (story ending) to help the writers.

Couldn't agree more. I actually thought they were going to go there for a minute when Michonne asked Rick what happens after they fight Negan and he said we keep going.
They need to somehow hint at a cure or something with an end goal.
The problem with that is it creates an end to the story and the writers/AMC can't just run it into the ground. They are going to milk every last drop out and then keep going until nobody watches instead of focusing on telling a great and complete story.
